The Green Grid announced Monday an open call for membership.
"The Green Grid welcomes any company interested in joining a committed group seeking to improve overall power efficiencies, starting with data centers. End users and technology suppliers are encouraged to join and help drive the creation of platform-neutral specifications and metrics."
Membership levels are priced at $25,000 and $5,000 per year.
Other green topics can be found on the Going Green subject while computing topics can be found in the Saving Energy at the Office subject.
